Linsey sent me a photo of a gown and asked me if I would make her one like it. I did, with several changes to the original design to allow the gown to be the most flattering to her figure.
I was working with a very short timeline, and Linsey was as patient as a saint throughout the entire process. Her gown is made of Italian silk Crepe and silk chiffon which I found at San Francisco’s best, Britex Fabrics.
"I found Julie online and solicited her help in sewing a wedding dress from a picture I found on the internet. This was 3 months before the wedding date and she let me know that she could help but that we'd be cutting it very close.
Since I was ok with getting the dress only a few days ahead of time we proceeded and Julie was absolutely amazing! She is a very busy woman (as am I) but made every effort to get me in quickly and worked with great attention to detail. She was able to recreate the dress just by looking at the picture and the outcome was stunning.
She was also very helpful with fabric decisions giving me options to save money along the way. Julie was also very honest about alterations we should take from the original design based on my body type etc... which I really appreciated, and as a result the final product was very flattering!!
I kept losing weight along the way which created more work for her, but she never once complained or stressed, she went out of her way to set up several final fittings the week of my wedding.
She was fantastic and I can't recommend her more highly!! Thanks Julie for making me look great on my wedding and sewing my dream dress from scratch! You are the best! "
