Julie purchased her Monique Lhuillier gown at local sample salon. Her gown was about three sizes too big. She was really swimming in it to start.
I took the gown in on almost every seam, being sure to leave all the fabric so that the dress could be let out at some point to allow another bride to enjoy it. I also shortened the hem and created a bustle that would allow her to really move around comfortably on her wedding day.
