Hilary purchased a gown at local sample salon. Her gown was a size 10 beaded lace gown produced with one continuous length of lace, which meant that the ability to shorten the hem from the bottom had not been provided for. The gown was a bit more than two sizes too large for her as well.
The gown was taken in at the center back and side seams, and then the two inches of lace border was carefully removed and reattached above. All the lace and beadwork was done by hand.
